The article is devoted to the role of copies and pastiche in landscape genre second half 18th century. Typological stylistic properties replicas performed by painting class students Imperial Academy Arts allow us identify a number originals that served as samples for them analyze degree characteristics their interaction. Special attention paid student works A. Martynov. Assumptions are made about possible sources, among which most probable Charles François de Lacroix, who his turn painted views spirit Joseph Vernet Salvator Rosa.
